FRIENDS PLAN SPRING TRIP
The Friends of the Pike County Public Library are busy planning a bus trip for to travel to Mackinac Island, Michigan, May 2026. This 7-day, 6-night trip will depart and return to a local parking lot in Milford. One day on Mackinac Island, where the only mode of transportation is by horse and carriage, will include a guided carriage tour.
We plan to cruise through the Soo Locks in Sault Sainte Marie, visit the Tower of History, Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse, a colonial village in Michigan, and a day in Michigan’s “Little Bavaria”, Frankenmuth.
